The show revolves around the Malhotra family, who have spent 12 years on Earth and have come from another planet called Zoltar. They look like human beings but are actually aliens. They have normal human lives but have more fun and encounter more trouble. With their relatives and gadgets from Zoltar, their alien secret is hard to keep from their neighbors. Sunny and Sunny's uncle Tappu is always causing Malhotra mayhem. Will they ever be caught? Their main problem is that if they would listen to music, green colored smoke starts coming out of their ears.

Chandramohan Azad (Jeetendra) is an employee and a union leader. His zeal and hard-work is detested by some of his fellow-workers and his employer, Sinha (Pincho Kapoor). He is framed for the murder of a fellow union worker and sentenced to jail for several years. After his release, he finds out that his brother-in-law, Deshbandhu (Utpal Dutt) is an MLA, and his sister (Seema Deo) is content with the way the things are. Chandramohan's right to assert what is truthful and right is frustrated at every attempt by a corrupt society and law enforcement officers. Will Chandramohan continue to fight inequality or will he himself become part of the system he fights now?

After the accidental passing of her mother, Ragini, Arunima lives a wealthy lifestyle with her builder father Devinder Dua. Both are very close, and after she befriends Manu, is gives his approval. Things change between them she sees him assault a male at a wedding. At a chance meeting with a noble-man, Digvijay Singh, she finds out that her mother was musically-inclined - a fact that was never discussed nor disclosed by her father. When questioned, she finds her father very evasive on any topic involving her mother and her hobbies. Then she finds out that her father has an alias of 'Shyam Prakash', and has been remitting Rs.20,000/- every month to a male named Shibu Narayan. She decides to investigate further and discovers to her horror that her mother was not only abused physically but may also have been killed by him. Watch their relationship deteriorate even more after he gets arrested and charged with killing Ragini.
